written by Adele, Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence and Christopher Brody Brown,
while production of the track was handled by The Smeezingtons, a songwriting
and record producing trio, consisting of Mars, Lawrence, and Ari Levine.
According to Slate's Forrest Wickman, the song lyrically discusses the singer
looking for one last night with a lover, before they go their separate ways.
Keep in mind, the
song All I Ask this turned out to have a unique story in the manufacturing
process. At first Adele did not intend to create a sad song like this.
Everything happens when the brainstorming session of Bruno and Adele take
place. The intention they both want to make an up-tempo song, but instead
produced a dramatic songs like All I Ask.
